Do I have HIPD?
If you have recently taken LSD or another hallucinogen and feel extremely scared (paranoid), are still hallucinating, or haven’t been able to sleep for days or weeks after taking the drug, you may have Hallucinogen-Induced Psychotic Disorder (HIPD).
HIPD is a medical emergency. You need to call 911 or go to your local emergency room. At the emergency room they can give you antipsychotics that will reverse the psychosis.

Hallucinogen-Induced Psychotic Disorder is a medical emergency. It is a psychotic reaction to hallucinogenic drugs, most commonly LSD. The antidote is antipsychotic medication. Any antipsychotic will work.
If you have recently taken LSD or another hallucinogen and believe you may have Hallucinogen-Induced Psychotic Disorder (HIPD), you need to call 911 or go to your local emergency room.
